12 Weeks and a HEARTBEAT!!

Today has been a big day for us...well for the most part. Today was our 12 week appointment with the doctor, and thank goodness, it was a good one. If you have ever been pregnant, you probably know that hearing the heartbeat for the first time is AMAZING! So, I have the absolute sweetest husband in the world, and he has been so excited about all our doctor visits. He can't stand the thought of missing one. Well, on Sunday, he got a little visit from the dreaded "stomach bug". He has been sick ever since, and it doesn't seem to be easing up. He decided to try to make the doctor's appt today, and as soon as the nurse took us to the room...guess what happens next...yep, Michael gets sick and has to leave the room. Poor Michael! The doctor came in to check for the heartbeat, and Daddy barely made it back in time to hear Peanut's heartbeat...thankfully! Anyway, the heartbeat was at 160bpm, and Doc said that was great! Oh yeah, and I lost 3 1/2 pounds...that means more room for make-up weight...ha!

Other than the sick husband, our weekend was pretty good! We had some family and friends over Sunday night for Enchillada's...yum! I have still been feeling great, and starting to notice a little belly! Maybe I'll have some preggo pics up soon! Come back to see us!

11 WEEKS!!

Well, it has been a pretty busy weekend at the Williams household! It seems like there is never any down-time anymore! Friday night we went out to eat with some family and a few friends, and had a really good time. Afterwards, Michael and my cousin talked me into going "hog hunting"...needless to say...the hogs were apparently sleeping. We did see 1 bird and a skunk though...ha! Believe it or not, we had fun! Saturday, I went to Playtime Pizza with my mother-in-law, sis-in-law, niece, and nephew. If you haven't been there and you have kids...you should take them! My mother-in-law took me shopping for some maternity clothes, and we had a really good time. I got lots of cute things, just can't wait to be able to wear them!

So...about 6 months ago a friend of ours found out she was pregnant, and I told her I would have her a shower at my house when the time came. Well, today was the shower, and everything went perfectly! She had a really good turnout, and got LOTS of cute things for Baby Addison! About halfway through the shower, I realized that I was getting BABY FEVER...woohoo! Won't be too long I'll be opening all those sweet little gifts for our little one! We went out to eat with some friends afterwards, and finally...we are at home relaxing!

I have now made it through 11 weeks without ANY sickness, and I'm still crossing my fingers that it stays that way! I go for my next doctors appt next week and hopefully everything goes well! We hope we get to hear the heartbeat this time! I have yet to take any preggo pics, but I will be doing that here soon! To tell you the truth, I still don't look a bit different! Have a goodnight!

10 Weeks Preggo!!

I just can't believe it but I am going on my 11th week of pregnancy. It seems like we just found out about "Peanut" yesterday. I have been feeling really well (for the most part) and I am so thankful for that. I was so afraid I would be miserable for the first couple of months, and I was not looking forward to it! Somehow I have managed to sneak by all of that! Michael has been so good to me (as always) and I know he is going to be just as good a father! He is getting really excited and talks about the baby all the time. He is convinced that we are having a little boy, and I'm thinking it's a little girl! I guess we will wait another couple of months to find out! Do any of those "Old Wives Tales" really work?

About Us

Hello! Welcome to our page! Here are a few things about us just to get started! My name is Anna and I am a hairdresser. I have been in the feild for about 4 years and it is soo much fun! My husband, Michael, is an electrician and has been for about 10 years. We have 2 of the sweetest little dogs you will ever see...Roper and Tubby! Enough of the boring about me's...let's get to the fun stuff!

Michael and I dated for about a year and a half, and had so much fun! He plays softball most weekends, so that year and a half seemed like they flew by. On December 15th, 2007, he asked me to marry him. This was the absolute "best day of my life" (so far)! I'm sure you can tell by now...I said YES!!!

We started planning the wedding, and as if that wasn't enough, we also started building our first house together. Needless to say, the next 6 months were CRAZY!! We set the date for May 17th, and planned on our new house being finished by then as well. We just knew that our life would be back to normal in just a few short...6 months. May 17th finally rolled around, and we had the absolute most perfect Wedding Day ever. We had over 250 guests, the weather was PERFECT, and the reception...couldn't have been more of a blast!!!! That day then became the "best day of my life"!

By now, we were suppose to have been moved into the new house, but instead, we still had about 6 more weeks of HARD work! I was beginning to think it would never be finished! We finally got it all done, and on July 1st, I finally started packing. If you have ever had to pack, you know that this was not a fun time! To make this "not so fun time" even more "not so fun", we found out on July 3rd, I'm pregnant! So...we started our move the next day (or atleast Michael did), and eventually got everything all in one place again. I'm sure you can tell by now, our CRAZY 6 months had turned into 8...I mean...nine more...really quickly!

We scheduled our first doctors appt. as quick as possible, but it seemed like it would never get here. For the next four weeks I had many sleepless nights, and lots of tears were shed. I couldn't have been more thrilled about the baby but, so many things ran through my head. I guess you would call that just simply being a "worry wart"! We made it through those four weeks, and to our doctors appt. Everything went great, and we got to see that sweet little heartbeat!!! Maybe this was now the "best day of our lives"!

As of now, I am 9 weeks preggo, and looking forward to the next 31 weeks! I can't wait to see that sweet little face of our sweet little Angel! I'll be keeping you posted, so come back and see us!!
